Local

in New York City over 100 years ago, in 1893. The I.A.T.S.E., throughout
North America, represents not only motion picture camera people and

camera, wardrobe, hair, lighting, sound, art direction, set design, set
construction, special effects, production office staff and much more.
I.A.T.S.E.
Local 667 was granted its charter from the International office in October
1981, and represented all I.A.T.S.E. camera personnel across the country.
Due to the growth of the motion picture industry in Canada, I.A.T.S.E. Local
669 was formed in 1989 to represent Western Canada, while Local 667
continued to represent Eastern Canada, with the division being the Manitoba
/ Ontario border. At the producer’s request, members of both I.A.T.S.E.
Locals 667 and Local 669 are able to take advantage of free-flow travel,
which allows them to work in either jurisdiction.
